I am a professional beauty therapist, so my main goal is your healthy skin. Skin, that does not need a cover!

To have great makeup you need not just quality make-up products but also a great quality base – and the base is your skin. You need an elastic, plumped-up surface.

What if you lacking even tone, moisture, have some sports and scares? Is that a problem? Nothing is a problem, most of the problems are fixable, you only will need some special problem-solving solutions to cover all that, before you get your skin in the desired stage.

If you wearing makeup, make sure to exfoliate your skin frequently. You need to make sure, that there no dry skin flakes on your face, as no foundation will cover that long enough to look great during the whole day.  Different skin types require different exfoliators – there is a wide choice from enzymatic to rough with plastic abrasive particles.  Your therapist should suggest what is best for your skin, and how often you should be using it. I rarely suggest exfoliation more than twice a week.

Moisturize. I have noticed, that a lot of therapists miss out on that important step of the daily routine. I know, that by addressing some specific skin concerns your budget has to expand, but missing moisturizer will definitely cause some other issues in a long run.

Skin base. I prefer serums, which are specially made to smooth out the skin and have some active ingredients that penetrate into the skin for further benefits. But if conditions are severe, that you would need stronger and different bases to cover each condition – redness requires green pigment, dark eye circles – orange pigment, pigmentation – purple pigment, scars can be covered with silicon.

And don’t forget to wash this all at the end of the day. Skin gets tired with all this load so good and proper face wash is a must.

But did I mentioned, that I personally like a face without make-up or just a minimum of it? I rather invest in care, than into a cover.

Old fashioned, ups – Classical approach 😉
